Accessibility for the festival

 Accessibility is a priority for the Chilliwack Pride Society.  

    • These booths ensure that all attendees have access to essential details about the event, including schedules, maps, and services, fostering a smooth and enjoyable experience.  

    • Labeled on the map and located at all “corners” of the festival, as well as in the Kids Zone. 

    • At College and Bole,  

    • Wellington and 5 Corners,  

    • Wellington and College,  

    • Victoria and Young 

    • Kids Zone on the field of Central Elementary 

    • Free water, snacks and juice available. 

    • Bowls of water for pets are also available here.  

    • Volunteers will be available here to support attendees. 

    • Free earplugs, masks, and gloves are available at each accessibility and information booth. 

    • A space for people to go when they feel overwhelmed or overstimulated. Please be respectful of the sensory needs of those using this space. It is important to keep this space calm, cool with low noise, warm lighting, and a scent-free environment.

    • Free earplugs, masks, gloves available at each accessibility and information booth. 

    • Free water, snacks and juice available at the Quiet Room.

  • Volunteers stationed in food area to assist people with ordering and receiving their food from food trucks.  

    • Mobility devices will be available for free rent, on a first come, first served basis as needed.  

    • These will be available through each accessibility and info booth.

    • Volunteers will be visible in bright yellow shirts with large black writing 

    • Available to support festival goers as needed.
